Wow. I have never, until now, observed a website with SO much inaccurate material. Wow. Do you people who, for example, write the list of acceptable foods for pet conures ever do any research before posting potentially fatal advice on the web and posting it as truth? Perhaps you all should consider speaking with an avian vet or doing some information-gathering on let us say an avian medical journal before placing your advice here. Just because you people like conures or breed them does not make you, in any way, specialists in avian nutrition. I will just give you one example: You assert that grapefruits, oranges, and tangerines are healthy for birds. I strongly urge you to read about how citric acid affects a bird's metabolism; read some case studies how birds have died by consuming citrus fruits. If I were a novice bird owner, taking, uneducated advice like yours will only cause potential heartbrake. I know you will not allow this to be posted but I assure you that if you have not had any of these types of comments issued to you before it is because educated bird owners are not the people who blindly access your site. DO YOUR HOMEWORK BIRD-LOVERS.
